We were contacted by Jacqui regarding her kitchen. She had searched the web for a kitchen cabinet painter Harrogate Yorkshire and found us. The kitchen was only fitted a year before but sadly the colour was not as they thought it be in their home.
After sending some photos of their kitchen I was able to give an accurate quote. A few weeks later I was invited round to look at booking in the job and to show a painted example. From then the job was booked in then a date confirmed. Also the colours were confirmed as Cornforth White on the outer units and Railings on the island. Most of the kitchen could be dismantled, taken away to our workshop making life easier for us travelling and the client having less intrusion.
On to the job.
With the kitchen in the workshop we are able to de grease and clean everything easier than on site. The kitchen is primed then left to dry in a warm dry environment. Having a few drying racks really helps the job come on quicker. Now all the primer is on we can concentrate on the first of the two top coats. We use Helmi 30 which has a lovely hard wearing sheen when dry.
Once we had completed all that we could we headed to a rather sunnier Yorkshire than a rainy Lancashire. With very little to do on site it took us only a few days to complete. The processes we had used in the workshop we used on site. Now that everything has been painted we can get back on with re fitting the kitchen all back together. Being careful not to damage anything, gradually door by door the kitchen took on the new look. Wow and what a look it was, A totally stunning transformation. Now Jacqui can decorate the rest of the room with a colour scheme she loves.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Harrogate and its nice to leave a client with a kitchen they love.
