The client’s discerning selection of Little Greene’s “Portland Stone Deep” and “Flint,” with subtle “Portland Stone” accents, created a sophisticated and harmonious colour scheme, perfectly complementing the tranquil surroundings of Turton. These rich, earthy shades, known for their depth and subtle variations, added a layer of warmth and character to the kitchen, enhancing its natural beauty. Workshop Precision: The Art of Preparation
We began by meticulously removing all doors and drawers, transporting them to our workshop, a sanctuary of craftsmanship. Each piece was meticulously sanded, providing a flawless base for the new finish. This crucial step ensured optimal adhesion and a smooth, even surface. Two coats of high-quality primer were then applied, followed by two coats of durable, waterborne paint. This meticulous, multi-layered process, executed with precision and care, ensures a lasting and beautiful finish, resistant to wear and tear. The waterborne paints, chosen for their environmental friendliness and exceptional finish, added a touch of modern elegance to the classic deVOL design.

The wooden island top, the kitchen’s centrepiece, required special attention. Years of use had dulled its natural beauty, obscuring the rich grain beneath. We carefully stripped it down to reveal the wood’s inherent warmth and character. Four coats of clear, matte lacquer were then applied, enhancing its natural beauty and providing a protective layer against spills and scratches.
