Why Refresh a Miele Kitchen?
Miele kitchens are synonymous with quality. Replacing such a premium kitchen is often unnecessary and costly. Painting provides a cost-effective way to modernize and maximize the room’s potential, especially when a space feels dark. Leigh’s kitchen, though well-made, was drawing in too much darkness. Our mission: Was to brighten and revitalize.

The Vision: Light and Airy
Leigh envisioned a light, airy space to complement her newly decorated lounge. The silvery grey tones of her wallpaper inspired our colour choice. After careful consideration, we selected Farrow & Ball’s ‘Ammonite,’ a soft, pale grey that promised a significant transformation. Leigh entrusted us with her home during her holiday, returning to a completely transformed kitchen.

The Transformation Process: Step by Step
Our meticulous process ensures a flawless, durable finish. Here’s how we revitalized Leigh’s Miele kitchen:

* Preparation: We removed hardware, protected surfaces, and performed a deep clean and sanding. Meth’s was used to eliminate contaminants.

* Priming: We applied two coats of Otex primer, known for its self-levelling properties. Our drying racks ensured even drying.* Top Coats: We used Tikkurila Helmi Matt, a premium waterborne finish. Two coats were applied, with light sanding between. A fresh tin of paint was used for the final coat.

* Final Touches: We re-installed hardware and removed all protective coverings.
The result? A kitchen that looked brand new, showcasing Miele’s quality with a modern, light aesthetic.

The Stunning Result
The “Ammonite” shade completely revitalized the space, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Leigh’s Miele kitchen now looks freshly installed, a testament to professional kitchen painting. We’re confident Miele would be proud.
