Anne had bought a hand painted Chalon kitchen Mobberley Cheshire some years ago. The colour she had chosen was a two tone one and she was ready for a change.

Chalon have a good name for themselves as a quality company producing beautiful kitchens. I was asked to call round and quote it all up as Anne fancied the kitchen painting a different colour to lighten the whole room. On seeing the kitchen for the first time it looked fab but the paint finish wasn’t so great close up, tram lines, paint on hinges, handles stuck on with loctite adhesive. Nothing we have not come across before and easily rectified. It was fairly easy to price up, thankfully Anne confirmed the job there and then.

With all the kitchens we do it’s the preparation. That’s the most important part! Get this right everything after that becomes easy. A full clean and degrease followed by a thorough sand using dustless sanders essential equipment these days. The first coat of paint to be applied is the high adhesion primer, this is the most important coat of paint.

The top coats are a hard wearing waterborne enamel paint. This is a far more superior paint than any others on the market. When used correctly this produces a flawless finish and one that clients just simply adore.

Once the doors and handles have been replaced then the final look is revealed. A simple clean up and another kitchen is finished to a highly delighted Ann. hand painted Chalon kitchen Mobberley Cheshire
